In a momentous occasion at the PaCT office in September 2023, we were honoured to welcome Dick Moeller, the esteemed founder of Water to Thrive and a significant benefactor for our Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) project. His arrival was met with a vibrant reception, orchestrated by our charming, sponsored children from the Music Dance and Drama team, showcasing the palpable impact of collaborative efforts on the ground.

This visit extended beyond the office walls, as Dick Moeller journeyed to Mubende and Kakumiro to witness first-hand the implementation of our WASH projects. Accompanied by PaCT’s Executive Director, our Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Manager, and PaCT – WASH Coordinator and Gashaw Simeneh – W2T Project Manager, Dick actively engaged in visiting both completed and ongoing water source construction in various villages. The tour was as a hands-on exploration of the tangible impact of Water 2 Thrive’s contributions to our shared mission.

During the visit he was impressed by the great work PaCT is doing in communities especially in WASH. His visit served to reinforce our shared dedication to transforming the lives of those in need through access to clean and safe water. As we collectively work towards a future where no community is left without this essential resource, we mark a pivotal moment of collaboration, reflection, and renewed commitment to the vital cause of water accessibility for all.
